Welcome to my blog!
My name is Mitchell Quintanilla and I have an interest in freshwater fish keeping.
Ever since 5 years old I've always wanted an aquarium of my own and now I was able to have one in my friend's house.
We currently own a 65 gallon tank that has been decorated with rocks, air stones, artificial decorations, pothos plants, and pool filtration sand as part of the substrate at the bottom. We are finding new ideas to aquascape the tank and add fish. A special thanks to the King of DIY is in order for helping us save money and add some fun in using DIY to create projects.

Please take into account my limited knowledge with power tools, woodworking, and plumbing. Even though I had these challenges, I was still able to make and build the items I needed to my satisfaction. You will go through trial and error, but as they say, measure twice and cut once. Research different designs to get a better idea of what will fit your aquarium!
I will go through the different aspects of the tank in this blog.
