About Mitch
My name is Mitchell Quintanilla. I've been an aquarium hobby for a little over 2 years now. Thanks to my girlfriend Lisa and her family, we've been able to set up an aquarium in their home. It has had major improvements done on it such as: lighting, filtration, substrate, and decorations. Thanks to the inspirational YouTube channels, I was able to create a beautiful aquarium. I hope I will be able to continue the hobby, learn more about it, and take on more challenges.

When I first started doing DIY projects, I was new to the DIY world for anything! I had limited knowledge about using tools and I ended up doing some homework on tool usage. For all new DIYers, do not be discouraged about working on DIYs, there are many YouTube videos that help and can fit your need.

The first DIY project I started off was in 2016 with the aquarium lighting, creating an LED light source that lit up my tank, and had the option to change colors!

Remember, to make it more fun, always do research on different designs and setups to make it optimal and interesting for your aquarium!
